Ox + Anchor, in partnership with the SLO Film Center, invites you to enjoy a perfect pairing of dinner and a movie! For the months of January and February, catch food-related films at the historic Palm Theatre, and then head next door for an exclusive three-course prix fixe dinner curated each week by Chef Ryan Fancher. Enjoy this special meal either before or after the film! The cost is $78 per meal, with $10 from each dinner donated to support the SLO Film Center.

Advanced dinner reservations at Ox + Anchor are highly recommended. When making your reservation, please specify the prix fixe menu. The prix fixe menu does not include a ticket to the film. Suggested dinner reservation times are 6:15 pm or later for a 4:15 pm showtime, or 5:00 pm for a 7:00 pm showtime.
Synopsis:
In Tita’s kitchen, ordinary spices become a recipe for passion. Tita passionately loves Pedro, but her controlling mother forbids her from marrying him. When Pedro marries her sister, Tita throws herself into her cooking and discovers she can transfer her emotions through the food she prepares, infecting all who eat it with her intense heartbreak.
