Synopsis:
Based on a true story of California’s rise to wine notoriety, Paris-based wine expert Steven Spurrier (Alan Rickman) travels to California in search of inexpensive wine for a blind taste test in the French capital. Stumbling upon Napa Valley, the snobbish Englishman is astonished to discover a winery producing top-notch Chardonnay. Determined to make a name for himself, he sets out to bring the wine back to Paris.
